Unlike other massage chairs which look mechanical, this one looks like a one person sofa in disguise. In terms of function, the feature which stands out the most to me is chopping/tapping which you don't get with other massage chairs. I'm excited to learn that the EP-MS40 is now available in the US for sale. However, it's nearly $1000 USD more expensive than buying the same thing in Japan or HK which cost about $1500. I will certainly consider buying one when the price drops. You can get it with different color fabric to match your existing living room sofa. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because if you use it to sit/recline while not using the massage function, your back can feel the mechanics underneath; you really need a back cushion for it.
